Who is Eligible for applying to this show?
All ages, All skill levels, All mediums are eligible for applying to this exhibition. Im interested in a diversity of work from a diverse group of artists.
This does not necessarily mean all work will be family friendly.

What kind of work should I enter?
Any 2d and 3d work that is directly referencing a specific film is eligible for this exhibition in the way the work is referenced is up to you. Renditions of film stills, Zines based on a film, works inspired by a film , diy movie posters, even (my personal favorite) remakes of art works from films are all welcome!
Matter of fact the only thing unwelcomed art work wise is A.I
If you have a piece that your unsure about feel free to email me or dm me I’m excited to hear about your interest in this exhibit!

How many works should I enter?
I allotted 3 pieces on the entry form if you have work that is relevant by all means please submit! However this does not guarantee all 3 pieces will be in the final exhibition. Rest assured my goal is to show as much work as possible gallery space permitted.

The Falstaff? The Falstaff is my favorite art collective here in El Paso it contains multiple art studios, galleries, a coffee shop. There is always something going on here wether it be Niche workshops, Book Launches, Movie Party screenings that you wont find at regular theaters, or getting a strawberry matcha from the in house coffee shop, coffee party. (I can go on and on) Regardless I promise you no matter who you are there is a way to build community in this space. To be absolutely clear The Falstaff is no secret but to those who haven’t visited I hope my doting inspires you to check out their instagram and find excuse to pay them a visit as soon as possible. If not allow me to be your excuse on October 30th for “Cinephiles” you’ll be able to say you have a friend you have to catch up with on that day and you won’t be lying.

Last Thursdays?"
The Falstaff’s Last Thursday is one of my most beloved art events theres usually open studios at the exhibition space Super Ultra Nova at Lüp. As well as openings from adjacent galleries in The Falstaff including Zephyr Contemporary . There’s usually a range of vendors, dj’s, food pop ups. Its genuinely always been a fun time if your unfamiliar with the event its a great place to meet people and see a bunch of new art as well as hopefully have your art seen and potentially purchased with this exhibition!

What to expect of the exhibition itself. As for Cinephiles specifically we have some planned screenings in the works with Movie Party Who do free and very fun screenings of very well curated movies. It’s also a day before halloween so for those excited to partake I HIGHLY recommend costumes. Im also looking into getting a dj for this particular event More information to come for this!

I have more planned and will be posting / emailing sequentially! This show has been in the works for quite some time so you can rest assured all my efforts will be going to this exhibit.
